Caddie's Summary: When it comes
to South Carolina golf courses and South Carlina resorts, Barefoot resides at the top of
the list. Four courses by renowned designers (Love, Norman, Fazio and Dye) are all among
the best public golf courses in the state. The ruins on the 4th and 6th holes of the
Love Course adds additional flavor to this exceptional layout. Prevalent bunkers litter
the landing areas and surround greens and water is in play on several holes. Large,
angled greens make approach shots more challenging and increase the demand of shot and
club selection. Scenically, few homes are around the house and the feeling of nature is
all around. Wildlife and floral attributes make the course look and feel like an elite
private golf course. A must play for the East Coast. |
