Caddie's Summary:  The Black Diamond is one of the most interesting and fun courses we've played. It's location in Millersburg has, thus far, kept the place a bit of a secret to the nearby larger cities and has thus made the place our #1-ranked steal. The course is young and still has a couple of years for the root systems to fully take hold, but otherwise, the course is amazing. Every hole is unique and sharply carved into the vastly wooded, rolling terrain. The course looks etched into the landscape and creates a visual treat. As far as play goes, don't let the 6462yd fool you, the course plays tough. Tight fairways, numerous bunkers, greens with heavy slopes and undulations, and plenty of hugging hazards challenge the golfer. With speeds rolling faster than 11, over half of the green surfaces on the front nine become basically false green. As challenging as it may be, the scenery is livid with natural beauty and wildlife. In summary, if you live within a couple hours of the Black Diamond, it is simply a must play as both a break from the normal course setting and to challenge the course before the word gets out and rates climb.
