Caddie's Summary:  The Country Club of Paducah is full of golf, tennis, swimming and dining amenities and the course has a mature setting with well-conditioned fairways and greens. The architecture and maintenance are both the best-of-class in Western Kentucky and as far as memberships go, activities for youth and seniors alike is some of the most active anywhere. Tight drives with giant maple trees signify the round as you traverse through doglegs and slanting fairways. Local knowledge (the caddie tip sheets) pays big in playing several of the blind shots and choosing clubs into fairway bends. Not overly long, the Blue tees bring many of the white sand bunkers into play for big hitters. Many of the tee shots are to inclining or declining fairways and missed shots find tight Out of Bounds areas or the trees. The par 3's are scenic and the greens have heavy slopes requiring proper approach targeting. Putting and pin placement can offer additional challenge with some of the false green areas. Overall, the course is in excellent shape and a cut above anything in the Western Kentucky area.
