The first drive is open, with a fairway leaning to the left bunkers. A safe shot to the right side of the fairway also plays to a prime angle into the green. Most notable, the green slopes to the back left and a slight ridge on the front of the green makes run-up shots mostly ineffective.
First Lft. Bunker: 338yds from Black; 322yds from Gold and 292 from Silver

This Par Three is for the shot-maker. Tees are elevated approximately 20 yards reducing club selection. The green is angled 45 degrees back and right, meaning that the yardage will be longer with a pin placement on the right and shorter to the left. Also, a ridge on the back-right of the green slopes front left while the back 30% runs toward the back grass bunkers. Tee shots going long are safe.

Long drives have a bunker and poor lies to deal with on the left. Approach shots left are trouble, and long is double (quick elevation drop). Green has a crossing sway 70% back forcing some balls w/o spin to kick long.

An aggressive tee shot has a narrow (23-25yds) landing area. The bunkers guarding the right side most often require a lofted iron to exit. A heavily guarded green has hidden troubles short left, left and long left. A second shot to the right of the green enables an easy approach. Large undulating green tempts those attempting to reach in two and provides challenge to any chip shot.

Spacious green. If pin on left, add yardage, if on right, reduce. Left bunkers are deep but behind the green (only small grass swells) is safe and makes for easy chips.

Beware of hidden traps beyond those seen from the tee. A large bunker extends 40-50yds beyond those viewed. Safe drive to left of bunkers leaves 200-215 into the green. Long narrow green that is safe on the left (only small grass swells) but dangerous to the right.

Choosing a driver leaves a narrow (50 yd from green has 15yd wide landing area) landing. Balls often kick right into the trees. Long iron off tee leaves approx. 100yd to the green. Deep ravine to the back left and missed approaches to the right find little trouble.

Large landing area from the tee. Long drives to the left side of the fairway may find slightly-hidden grass bunkers (beginning 100yd from the green). At 50yd out from green, fairway narrows to approx. 15 yd. Large sways on green make for an interesting approach, and most shots on the green will undoubtedly kick and roll left - especially without a lot of spin).

The large ravine from the Black and Gold tees requires (from Gold) minimum of 180 yd to clear on the far right and 260 at the farthest point left (where the bunkers begin). Careful not to push the drive through the fairway if aimed right. Moderate sized green has no unseen obstacles.

To blast a drive off the tee, you'll need to hug the right bunker or clear it (approx 250yd to clear from Gold) - over the hill the fairway declines and drifts right. Safe second shot is open and getting on in two requires you to hit the green or roll on from the right side.

Long drives can clear the bunkers making the drive tight (from Gold, 237yd to clear left bunker and 245yd to clear right). Short and safe tee shots leave mid to low irons into a large, elevated green.

Elevated tees suggest club reduction. Also, anything long leaves only 5-7yds of decline into the water hazard. The narrow bunker will swallow anything left short/left. Green usually holds well.

Interesting par five. From Gold, drives need to be 305yd to carry the second bunker on the left. Second shot should be played left side of the fairway. The green slopes slightly right to left and has little trouble on the right. Back of the green is safe, but declines. Large green appeals to lofted iron shots.

Bunker on right is 254yd from Black tees and 240 from Gold. Long tee shots can carry the bunkers and will ultimately roll down the steep decline (leaving an awkward downhill stance or a short (50yd chip). Regardless, approach shots hit long find trouble quickly. Left side of the fairway leaves the easiest approach shot into the well-protected green.

The narrow fairway and hazards to the left attract balls. Long drives are rewarded with a safer approach shot but the fairway also has a ditch protecting the entire length to the right. The front bunker is a lot to contend with yet shots hit long are safe.

Another elevated tee makes club selection important. The bunker on the left protects all the way around the green to the back right. The large green provides generous landing area and long putts rarely have tremendous break.

17 is a breath of air before the signature 18th. The tee shot is relatively open and it only requires (from Gold) 200yd to carry the visible bunker on the right and and 205yd to carry the narrow water hazard left of the fairway. Approach shots only have trouble to the left while the right and front of the green provides several options onto the long, narrow putting surface.

Signature Hole. The tee shot needs to be blasted to carry the bunkers on the right (290yd carry at the far tip of the trap - Gold tees). Safer shots over the first of the bunkers leaves 160-175yd in to the green. Little space is left behind the green prior to the beautiful surrounding water falls. Any approach short left has the opportunity to kick forward onto the green,
