Caddie's Summary:. Tims Ford is known for its challenging design and wildlife, including a partially albino deer, that populate the course. The golf is fantastic and the Nicklaus architecture requires shot-making from tee to green. The rolling terrain has the Tims Ford lake edging up to several holes and the overall scenery offers a great natural escape. Tee shots see plenty of large bunkers with large front lips making them a true penalty to hit. Approaches are to some excellently conditioned greens that are typically deep and angled, requiring some thought on the approach shots. Like all the Bear Trace locations, the staff and feel is extremely warm and welcoming and the focus is purely on golf. Tim's Ford is perhaps the best bang for the buck in the State of Tennessee. |
