Caddie's Summary: Within what may be one of the top five resort locations in the US, Kiawah Island Club has two private courses for Island property owners. Guest package are available but not easily obtained. The courses, are incredible. The River Course is a golf course with amazing uniqueness. Sculpted fairways are always in near-perfect condition, and the greens and bunkering are very challenging. Surrounding the golf course are beautiful wide-open sceneries with marshes, grasses and forest. It is an ideal stroll in the park. Timid beware, however, as this course is demanding. A perfect place to improve your game focus, the high bunkers, fairway ridges (making for some tough lies) and heavily sloped greens require precise shot-making and club selection.
