Caddie's Summary: The Reynolds
Plantation is host to five golf courses, three of which are ranked in the top 15 of
Georgia golf courses. The National golf course is Elite Golf Course's favorite among
these. All are spectacular, but this Tom Fazio design really stands out. The deep
bunkering looks amazing on the steep slopes and elevations of the golf course. The
greens are heavily sloped and putting and approach shots are difficult at best. At least
six holes on this course are remarkable, and all are very good. If you have your choice
in NINE's, we suggest them in this order - RIDGE, BLUFF and the COVE. The Ridge is laid
out with rolling undulations and has enough bunkering to intimidate any level of golfer.
The Bluff has some beautiful holes and also plays tough. The Cove isn't a slacker
itself, and plays difficultly through the mature landscape. If traveling through
Georgia, this is a MUST PLAY, even if it means going a bit out of your way. |
