Caddie's Summary:  The Sagamore is the new site among top Indiana Golf. The course is only a year and a half old, yet has developed extremely well and the course has taken shape nicely. The Nicklaus design is both beautiful and demanding. Fescue, numerous white bunkers and water are normal obstacles throughout the course. From the back tees, the course requires both length and the ability to work the ball. After walking onto the course, we first felt that the course had a sleek and aggressive look and is manicured as any elite golf club should be. Above all, we found the course to demand all clubs are used proficiently. Drives must be placed wisely and many holes require draws or fades to work around trees or into fairway slants, approach shots must be able to hold on the hard and fast greens, and putts roll beautifully with interesting slopes. Brand new, the Sagamore will undoubtedly take its place in the Top Ten of Indiana golf and will likely be a known destination in the years to come. The club is full of amenities and golfers who call this home can be proud of a great track with a beautiful modern design.
