Golf Course Summary: Word has it that the TPC Myrtle Beach was loosing its luster before the Legends Group bought it. It certainly is turning around now, and should be back in the top rankings very soon. An excellent Tom Fazio and Lanny Watkins design makes this an ideal tournament venue. Large greens are very well protected, and allow the average golfer to get on the greens but can make going for certain pins very risky. Built on a beautiful property that gently rolls through mature pine woods, Fazio has incorporated large bunkers (a Fazio must) and many high-grass rough areas. The clubhouse, the staff and the golf are all superb. And best of all, this a real venue just off the beaten path of many of the commercial golf tracks in Myrtle Beach.
