Caddie's Summary: A Dick Wilson course built in 1959, Coldstream has a long tradition of excellent golf conditions and challenging play. It is among the most prestigious golf locations in Cincinnati and the state of Ohio. Manicuring is beautiful and the rolling terrain adds to the test of abilities. Of the private clubs in the area, Coldstream is noted as being one of the most difficult. First notice of the track is the mature landscaping with long-standing trees and forested areas. Large greens signature the architect's design and heavy slopes make controlled approach shots and putting imperative. Water comes into play on several holes and misses off the tee often find that the trees block the next shot. Fairway bends allow the golfer risk reward shots and the playing surface is kept in awesome shape. Amenities at the course have a long history and is both elegant and comfortable. |
