Caddie's Summary:    Prestigious and well worth the acclaim, the Champions course is home to countless PGA and Pro tour events including the 1983 Ryder Cup. Tom Fazio designed, and Jack Nicklaus redesigned the track and it demonstrates both characteristics. Large undulating greens and deep bunkers with steps leading in and out are signature for the course and the conditions are always immaculate. Heavy rough and crisp fairways make play enjoyable and add to the scenic beauty but trouble abounds along the round. Lots of water and large swells on the greens make approach shots more challenging, especially with average green depths around 35 yards which require a little extra thought on pin placements and club selection. The resort is brilliantly put together with a Member's Only club, a pool with bar, restaurants, volleyball courts, and all the additional amenities that go with PGA National. Caddies are among the best and the history and ideal conditions/design produce a memorable golf round.
