Caddie's Summary: A gorgeous course with unique bunkering and nice contrast in roughs, fairways and white sand bunkers. The fairways are wonderfully sculpted and add some difficult lies to an already challenging course. A bit easier than the King and Bear, the course still has difficult approach shots and large undulating greens. A rare course design, Snead and Sarazen, provides a lot of slight bends and huge bunkers. Majority of the sand traps have large lips and can be traumatic with an unfortunate position. Around the course, the is plenty of brush that adds to the scenic appeal and to difficulty. Add to the benefits of the WGV and it is a great vacation spot.
