Caddie's Summary:
. The highest rated public course by Golf Digest in 2004, StoneWater is a complete golf complex available to the public (for now). To give an idea of the course, the Open Qualifier has been played there for four years, and no amateur has broken par yet. The Hurdzan style of greens, large and undulating are well guarded with numerous bunkers and heavy rough. Tight fairways and long yardage make both distance and accuracy a necessary for shooting your handicap. Wetlands are prominent around the course and cut off or into many of the fairways. Manicuring of StoneWater is comparable to an elite private course and the conditions and green surfaces are always supreme. The restaurant and amenities are of the highest caliber and the staff is among the best around. Amenities include, restaurant, bar, pro shop, range, and locker rooms. If in the area, play StoneWater soon, before it goes private.
