Caddie's Summary:. The famed "Blue Monster" will not disappoint. After lengthening the tee boxes to add more distance for the tour players, this course can give a fright. However, no where on the course does it play unfairly. Tee shots navigate numerous bunkers on each hole, but rarely does the lip prevent a possible green approach. Undulating greens necessitate precise approach shots to score low and roll ideally once on the putting surface. Most noted, the roughs are kept in tournament condition and can reach 6-8", creating havoc for all who miss the short grass. The Blue Course demands excellent play, but good shots are rewarded and it remains a top venue for resort guest and PGA touring professionals.
